Captain's Weekend Galway Bay Golf & Country Club

        The Captain's Weekend was held at the above venue from the 31st of August to the 2nd of September. The turnout was not as high as it was in Waterford last year, but it was a successful outing all the same. 

        The team event on Friday was won with a score of 84 points, the scoring was done by the best 2 scores on the first seventeen holes and by all three team members on the 18th. The second best score on the day was a meager 74 points

I hope to have more on this event at a later time, but due to the ill effects of the beer at the weekend and the fact that I didn't win anything, I cannot remember any other results other than what I have given you.
